White Hart (Hotel)

Beautiful hotel, pub and restaurant in an absolutely idyllic setting. Room was very clean, comfortable and well decorated. Had an excellent Sunday roast dinner. Conveniently located for visiting Bath and other local sights. A very restful stay in this lovely hotel. Will definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for 3 nights in September and we absolutely loved it. The room was very cozy. We would recommend to add breakfast. You can chose from various freshly prepared dishes or from the buffet. We also had dinner at the restaurant every night and all dishes we tried were delicious. The staff was super friendly! The Hotel/Restaurant is in a very quiet neighborhood with a nice outdoor seating area next to a small river. By car you can reach many nice tourist places like Bath, Bristol, Stonehenge, Lacock Abbey and Castle Combe.

Room was comfortable and clean. Toiletries in bathroom were a lovely touch. Staff were superb, friendly and helpful. The food was lovely, a good menu. Beautifully cooked,hot and tasty. Breakfast was good. Did miss my cornflakes. Would certainly stay again.

We had a fantastic 2 night stay at The White Hart and would highly recommend this hotel. It is located in a picturesque setting, within a good distance to castle combe and Bath. The rooms where amazing with all the facilities you would need, the restaurant serves delicious dishes and the staff where very friendly. Will definitely be booking another visit soon.

Location is great, away from the main road. Room was lovely - welcoming and full of character and with a huge bath as well as shower. Good selection of hot drinks with bonus of coffee making machine. Breakfast was very tasty with good portions. The only disappointment was the steak pie meal in the evening. The pie was very good but small and the veg accompaniment consisted of two pieces of (almost raw) broccoli and two slices of (overcooked) carrot. I think it's a reasonable expectation to have bigger portions for dinner. Hence 4 stars for service. All staff we met were great. We would stay again!

Friendly and attentive staff. Great pints, great breakfast. Clean and comfortable rooms, no faults. Quiet and picturesque area.

Wonderful food in a beautiful traditional pub! I had a burger which was outstanding, my mother had the sausage and she said they were very meat and tasty. My father had the chicken baloutine and really enjoyed it even though he's used to more plain meals. My father is also disabled and I was able to get him in and out with barely any issues.

This was the most magical one-night stay on our self-drive tour of England's west country. Free and convenient parking, friendly and helpful staff, beautifully prepared rooms and a wonderful restaurant on site with fabulous food. Highly recommended, particularly if travelling between Castle Combe & Bath.

Absolutely loved our stay at The White Hart, Ford. The burger was incredible, breakfast the best start to the day, and the rooms were spacious and super comfortable. Perfect base for our photoshoot in the Cotswolds – highly recommend!
